Textured journal girl card

PRODUCTS USED:
6x6 card base
Spray inks
Versamark onyx black
Brush pens
White posca paint pen
Distress Oxide seedless preserve

HOW TO MAKE:
Cut a white card panel just smaller than your card base, spray with water and scrunch it up to get crinkles...

Spritz with inks, I used pearlywinks. Pink & yellow - heat to dry...

Accent the creases using seedless preserve oxide and a blending tool...

Mount this onto a black panel, and glue onto your card base...

Stamp some of the background elements onto your textured surface, the images won't be perfect due to the uneven surface - but it's part of the design...

Stamp, colour and cut out the journal girl (I used watercolor brush pens) stamp one of the journal blocks - add the small word sentiments and cut out. Stick them onto your background...

Add some white posca pen detailing to complete the card.

Card - background created using oxide inks twisted citron, peacock feathers and cracked pistachio. Swipe the ink pads onto craft mat, spritz with water and swipe the card into the puddles of ink to get the 'smooshed' effect. Ink through one of the new big ones ink'ables using speckled egg oxide then stamp and die cut the villa Rose house, cloud and trees. Colour with ecolines (watercolor) add ticker tape sentiment, vine details and black soot distress edging to frame the design.

Card - Stamped out both the sky terrace and villa Rose houses over the background in speckled egg oxide ink. This gives a backing paper look. Added stencil elements using a texture disc (arrow lines) Stamp and die cut 2 sky terrace and 1 villa Rose, leave blank. Glue diagonally across the front of card. Die cut trees, colour lightly. Add heart details and ticker tape sentiment on black card and white heat embossed.

Card - inked salty ocean oxide around edge of card mat. Stamped vines to create a frame with stamped clouds breaking it up. Cloudy grey watercolor wash in the centre with a holographic medium applied to give some sparkle. Stamp and die cut the sky terrace- colour with ecolines. Add heart details and ticker tape sentiment.

Card - inked the cloud big one with speckled egg oxide and inked a horizon mask in cracked pistachio oxide for the ground. Stamped and die cut the villa Rose house, colored with ecolines. Stamp and die cut trees and fence. Assemble the scene and add ticker tape sentiment. Mount onto a black mat.

MDF tag - Paint the whole tag in blue acrylic paint, then add in whisps of white gesso using a sponge to give the background more of a sky feel. Add texture paste through the cloud big one, don't level the paste off, keep it uneven so the clouds appear more fluffy. Stamp and die cut the sky terrace, trees, hearts and border. Colour them using ecolines and assemble on the tag. Stamp and cut the ticker tape sentiment to finish.

CAS butterfly card

This a rare for me...
There is actually white space!!! EEK

PRODUCTS USED:

And picked raspberry

HOW TO MAKE:

Using an easy frame (any design you like) I picked the butterfly - ink up in Kitsch flamingo...

Keep the frame in place to do the next step...

Place the metal alpha dink'able over the wings and ink with a darker pink, I used picked raspberry. Again you could use any pattern stencil you like...

Remove the frame to reveal this design...

Now place the mask/inner part over the top and stamp the crackle paint stamp over the bottom part of the card in shadow grey archival ink...

Take the small words stamps and stamp one inside the butterfly and another onto a separate piece of card. Cut it out and glue in place...

To finish add some kitsch flamingo splatters by mixing a bit of ink from your pad with water and then tap the brush over the top off the card...

Add some colour coordinating sequins or gems to complete the design.

Simple but sweet!
